Many types of exercises benefit our health, but cardiovascular fitness is mostly admired because of its flexibility and simplicity. Numerous types of cardio training such as fartlek training, interval training, and continuous training are very much beneficial to have good health. Generally, continuous training includes activities in which maximum energy is supplied by aerobics. This is known as fist phase exercise that you need to workout for twenty to thirty to sixty minutes.
Fartlek training encloses combining of speed and endurance. This kind of training helps in improving the stamina of your intensity and speed. The continuous effort to increase the intensity level constructs lactic acid. You may wind up your running activity in twenty minutes. While you are running, increase the speed to such a level that it hikes up your heart rate. Then slow down and start jogging.
Interval training includes sporadic periods of movement and improvement. It reveals good introduction to rigorous training without involving excessive exhaustion. Your health will improve largely by walking. This method helps to eliminate lactic acid from muscles, transfer back to the liver and modify it to energy. You can consider this training as the best way to improvise your health and fitness.

The best fitness equipment is the type that’s going to help you achieve your goals – and be suited to your home environment. We’ve listed below a list of questions, in no particular order of importance, that you need to answer for before you buy a piece of home fitness equipment.
Have a go at these:-
1. How much do you want to spend?
You have to justify to yourself (and maybe your family) the amount you’re about to commit to achieving your goal. How much you spend can also be a factor in whether you’ll succeed.
For example, if you’ve spend £500 on an exercise bike you’ll probably be more motivated to use it than if it cost £75. A more expensive piece of kit will usually be easier and more comfortable to use and have a better specification than a cheaper model.
If you’re budget is less than £200 your choice is limited to either an exercise bike or elliptical cross trainer. For this price any treadmill, vibration trainer or rowing machine isn’t going to be up to much unless you buy second hand – which comes with its own risk.
2. How much room do you have?
You need to know that the fitness equipment you buy is going to fit through your front door and then be practical to use either as a permanent fixture or be easy to fold up and store out of the way.
Many elliptical trainers and treadmills fold up into quite a reasonable size for storage but may be cumbersome to move from your storage space to the room you’ll be using it. If it’s a bit awkward are you really going to use it if you’re a bit tired and don’t want the hassle of moving it?
Also consider where you’ll be using your kit. Many people opt for the garage but in the cold winter months is it a good place to spend half an hour or more? Will you disturb the rest of the family if you’re going to use it in the lounge when they’re trying to watch TV? Ellipticals, vibration trainers and bikes are usually quieter than treadmills and rowers but are you going to be puffing, blowing and dripping sweat every where?

Measure your waist in line with your belly button. Breath in, then exhale and relax… no sucking in! Take the measurement in inches and write it down.
Follow these simple steps over the next 4 weeks and you’ll see the kind of inch loss you thought was impossible!
Before you start your 4 week plan…
1. A watched waistline never shrinks. Don’t measure it again until after 4 weeks!
2. Forget about the 3 bad P’s – Pills, Potions, and Patches. They don’t work.
3. Remember the 3 good P’s - Plan, Persevere, Praise.
4. Plan… design a timeline for the 4 weeks, identifying all potential setbacks.
5. Persevere… think about how you’ll get back on track after each setback.
6. Praise… for each setback you get through without giving up, praise yourself!
7. Avoid perfectionism at all costs. It’ll never be perfect. Ever!
8. Understand that losing inches is a 4 week marathon, not a 3 day sprint.
9. Visualise how you’re going to manage the hurdles along the way.
10. Your goal is to cross the finish line, not give up at the first hurdle!
Your 4 week waist shrinking nutrition…
11. Set yourself the goal of tracking your nutrition every day for four weeks.
13. Request a free nutrition tracker from everythingzing.com and update it daily.
14. Use it to plan your meals as well as keep a diary of everything you eat.
15. Aim to eat a good breakfast, lunch and dinner every day, no skipping meals.
16. Breakfast should be good quality, ‘slow-energy-release’ cereals with milk.
17. Try all-bran / branflakes / weetabix / shredded wheat / museli / porridge.
20. Replace sugar with sweetener, or even better sprinkle dried fruit on top.
18. Avoid buying sugary cereals or bars – you’ll end up scoffing them at night!
19. Lunch should be good quality protein with rice / potato + mixed veg / salad.
20. The portion = 1 hand protein, 1 hand rice/potato, 2 hands mixed veg/salad.
21. ’1 hand’ is the amount of food that would sit on your open hand.
22. Example – chicken breast (1 hand), rice (1 hand), mixed veg (2 hands).
23. Dinner should be good quality protein with mixed veg / salad.
24. The portion = 1 hand protein, 2 hands mixed veg / salad.
25. Example – 2 egg omelette with onion, pepper and mushrooms and salad.
26. Between meals snack on yoghurt / fruit / cold meats / low-fat cheese.
27. Strive to fill your diet with colour – reds, greens, oranges, purples.
28. Ideally eat every 2 to 3 hours, avoiding large gaps in between meals.
29. If you’re serious about shrinking your waist, don’t eat after 9pm.
30. Once you’ve planned your meals for the week, go to the shops and stock up!
Things to avoid for 4 weeks…
31. Cut out all beige foods – bread, pasta, crisps, cakes, sweets and biscuits.
32. Even the ones that have been artificially coloured… nice try smarty pants!
33. If you are a ‘beige addict’, it’s easier to go ‘cold turkey’ than ‘in moderation’.

You’ve probably heard of the formula “220-your age” for estimating maximum heart rate. Unfortunately, this formula is not very useful because it can be easily off by more than 20 beats on the high or low side. For me at age 54 this formula says my maximum heart rate should be 166, but I happen to know from more accurate tests that it’s at least 25 beats higher than that.
In books, on exercise machines, and on the walls of gyms, you’ll often see charts of suggested exercise intensity that are based on 220-your age. It’s also in calculators all over the web. I’d hardly break a sweat if I exercised at those levels. But more importantly, for some people the opposite is true and their maximum heart rate can be more than 20 beats lower than the formula predicts. If they were to exercise at the levels from the charts, their intensity could be too high, especially for anyone with a medical condition.
This formula is often quoted without any warning about it’s potential inaccuracy, and in addition to the inaccuracy, it turns out it has little scientific basis [Kolata, 2003]. Some people are aware that 220-age was never intended by it’s original authors to be a universal formula (it was intended to come up with a safe exercise level for patients in cardiac rehab and was based on a not very broad sample of subjects). But the problem is also in the basic assumption that max heart can be predicted on the basis of age alone. If you think about it, it seems nonsensical- regardless of family background, fitness level, whether we’re tall or short, underweight or overweight, etc, we all have exactly the same heart rate at a certain age, and maximum heart rate declines with age in all of us at exactly the same rate?
More recent studies have tried to revisit this concept on a broader sample of the population. For example, in one study, based on thousands of subjects, male and female, ranging in age from 18 to 81, the authors came up with a “best fit” equation of:

If your goal is to lose weight, you need to add some cardio to your TV watching. This next set of exercises will get your heart pumping.
Jog In Place
Jogging in place is about as simple as it gets. Make sure you have supportive shoes, and water nearby. If you’re a beginner, start with jogging for 2 or 3 minutes, and increase it gradually each week.
Jump Rope
Go raid a toy box and visit a childhood favorite! Jumping rope is not only a great cardio exercise, but it’s very fun. If you haven’t done it in a while, it’ll take some time to master, but once you do, you won’t be able to stop.
Jumping Jacks
Another classic, jumping jacks are a great way to get your heart pumping. It may take a while to get your rhythm going, but that’s okay. Start with 5 to 10 a day and work up from there.
Cross Leg Lifts
This exercise is much like marching in place, with a twist. Stand with your arms in front of you, elbows bent. Then, slowly at first, bring your right leg up while twisting your waist so that your left elbow touches your right knee. Alternate, and as you get the hang of it, pick up your speed.
Dance
Nothing good on TV? Turn it to your favorite music channel and dance! Not only is dancing a great way to get a cardio workout, but it does wonders for the soul.

Peace and unity
We are a dozen people cramped on a 12-foot boat. Its two rowers take turns shoving the long bamboo pole to the bottom of the muddy river to thrust the vessel forward. The boat develops some fissures at the bottom. Water seeps in. A few of us try to find the fissures. Three others are using containers to scoop up and throw out river water seeping through the cracks and filling the boat to our ankles.
We could be on National Geographic, but we are not. We are the advocates of peace and unity in the world. The boat is symbolic of our efforts for peace and unity, the two rowers are our knights of peace and unity, and the muddy river symbolises the world full of horrors of war and terrorism. The three others and their efforts are symbolic of the efforts to establish peace in the society.
Peace is a state of the mind. There should be peace to foster love and respect among the people of a nation, there should be peace in the world to establish rule of law and order in the world. The concept of world peace should translate as peace of mind in all the denizens of the world. The greatest peace is felt where one feels safe and happy. It is the feeling of intimacy in a place that gives one a sense of safety and security to the mind. In this way, the requirement of world peace translates as the need to make people feel at home wherever they are. Peace could be established if a feeling of intimacy, safety and security were inoculated in the minds of all the citizens of the world.
The world today requires peace at all levels. Peace is a prerequisite for proper law and order in the society in general and the world at large. Rule of law always entails from unity and peace. On the other hand, unity and peace in the society ensures the proper functioning of the society. So, at the end of the day, the concepts of peace, unity, and law and order emerge as being related to each other. The governments of the nations of the world are cursed if they are unable to provide peace to their citizens. The essentiality of peace can be compared to the requirement of electricity in a factory. Just as a factory needs electric power to run, peace is required to run the world. Our lives would be disrupted in the absence of peace, it would be quite different from what it is if there were no peace or even if there were peace. Peace works out to be the greatest need of the hour.
Peace can be achieved by beginning at the basic level, we must begin by inculcating the concept of peace in the minds of people, and we must begin the Herculean task by injecting the concept of unity in the minds of the children. Unity always gives way to peace, unity is a prerequisite for peace to prosper. The dream of world peace could be achieved only if unity is established in the world. Wars and other disturbances in the world are symbolic of the growing dissonance among the world’s countries with respect to the concept of world unity.
Unity could be achieved by bringing the conflicting factions in the world to common terms on a common issue. The common issue has to be something that is common to all the nations of the world. The common element should be such that it should foster a concern for itself. A beginning could be made by fostering a concern for the children of the world. Children form the concern of all the nations of the world. They are the common denominators of the world. They are the ones who require the maximum attention in the world. The innocence of children is what could unite the world.
The entire world could be brought together through the concern for children. Making efforts for the improvement of the plight of children of the world could bring all conflicts to an end. Children could be the umbrella that the world would require to protect itself from regular and continuous showers of evils like terrorism, wars and violence. Children form the hyperbola between the present and the future generations. Children are the future of the world, they are the ones who would hold the reins of the world in the days to come. The world’s situation could be ameliorated in case the children of the world get the required attention.
Children all over the world need adequate attention and proper upbringing. This is of the utmost importance as these very children would grow up to be citizens of the world tomorrow. It is very essential that they be groomed to be responsible and healthy world citizens who would form the masses of the world tomorrow. The world would be free of all conflicts and even weapons that threaten to create disturbances in the world. The contemporary world seems to thrive on a passion of accumulating arms and weapons. Huge resources are being squandered on research, development and manufacture of advanced arms and ammunitions of mass destruction. These resources could be utilised for the betterment of the children of the world. On the other hand, a large portion of humanity is living in miserable conditions of hunger, poverty and disease. The worst part of the story is that a large portion of this populace is innocent children. Hundreds and thousands of children live in utter poverty without access to proper clothing, food and shelter. Many of them are physically abused and forced to work as labourers. All this needs to be changed.

Tee Shirts are one of the most accessible, comfortable, timeless, and affordable clothing that have been around since the days of ancient Egypt. T-Shirts are available in different colors, patterns, fabrics and sleeve lengths manufactured by various national and international repute companies. One of the preferred Tee-Shirts of today’s young generation is Henley’s Tee-Shirt that is known for its unique style and comfort. This Tee-Shirt got its name because this particular style of Tee-Shirt was the uniform of rowers in the city of Henley-on-Thames. These Tee-Shirts are distinguished by their buttoned placket which can have from two to six buttons. Henley T-shirts are used as a team uniform by imprinting team logos and player numbers that can be easily embroidered or printed on Henley Tee-shirts. The big size of Henley Tee-shirts also provides easy movement and proper ventilation of body heat. However Henley Tee-shirts are more commonly worn by professional rowers than worn by rugby or soccer players. Moreover the button on this Tee-shirts make them easier to wore and remove as per the requirement. Henley Tee-Shirt can be worn with any casual pant but it matches perfectly especially with blue shades of jeans and also khaki.
These Tee-shirts are generally made of solid colors but few also feature stripes or complementary color pattern. Quite popular in the early 1990s but fall out of fashion during late 1990s and early 2000s, Henley Tee-shirts once again made a fashion comeback especially in Western countries such as the United Kingdom, United States and Canada. These Tee-shirts are really treasured by larger men who seek for a stylish Tee-shirt that provide them comfort apart from fashion and style. Moreover these Tee-shirts are easy to access and manage than any other type of clothing.
